Like a particularly notorious child's tantrums, a mountaneous river's intemperance, a volcano's reckless carelessness and the dreamy eyes of a caged bird, imagination tries to fly unfettered. Hesitant as she takes those first steps, she sculpts those ambitious yet half baked earthen pots.

Dharamveer Bharati

Haven't you ever, on those long train journeys, passed such a train station where time seems to have come to screeching halt, its inertia continuous being prodded by hot summer air and lonely dust flowing with it. Where the only sign of human civilization is the vast green expanse of rural farms and those slothful Peepal trees which line the adjoining mud platform. The station doesnt seem to serve any town or village. Its there all by itself, brooding, too tired to acknowledge the passing trains, too silent to curb the song of the birds on the peepal...
